Dufferin Rink "State of Good Repair" report (SOGR), 2014
Errors
2014 study says everything is from 1993. Not true.
Header trench was redone in May 2006.
Building energy retrofit in August 2006, including fluorescents.
Rubber flooring has been replaced three times.
Tile flooring in sink kitchen in 2001.
Toilets were replaced before 2000.
New sewer pipes in 1999.
Dasher boards replaced a number of times as needed, painted every year.
New chain link on the south side in 2014
SW gates replaced at least once (damaged by zamboni driver)
Overhead garage doors have been replaced once
East and west main doors have been replaced twice.
SOGR summary:
“Minor work is proposed.” Sounds like some is under the heading of basic maintenance.
Concrete and steel are said to have 100 year life-span, years remaining in 2014: 76.
