Pizza Days

Pizza Day details: Spring and Summer 2014
Our pizza programs give members of our community the opportunity to make their own fresh pizzas and watch as they are baked in the outdoor wood-fired ovens by park staff. We provide sauce, cheese, home-made dough and fresh herbs from the garden.
Public Pizza days
Public pizza days begin on Sundays from 12-2pm starting on June 1st.
Wednesday pizza days begin on July 2, also from 12-2pm.
Both continue to the end of the summer.
At these times, anyone is welcome to drop by the park for a pizza. For a suggested donation of $2.50, you get a lump of dough, some tomato sauce, cheese, and you can pick herbs from the park gardens to add to your pizza, Bring more toppings if you wish.

Pizza Parties or Group Bookings
The suggested donation for all group bookings is $60 per hour, plus the regular $2.50 per pizza. This covers the cost of staffing, supplies, and ingredient costs. Typically, we can bake pizzas for up to 30 people in one hour. If you can’t afford to donate, let us know and we can work something out.
Bookings begin: Sundays: 11-12 or 2-3, (beginning June 1st)
Wednesdays from 11-12 or 2-3 (beginning July 3rd).

Spring Bookings for Schools and Daycares
We are very happy to accommodate weekday bookings for our local schools and daycares during the spring months.
Bookings begin: Tuesdays between 12-3,
Wednesdays 11-3 pm from June 3rd to June 25th. To book: email Michelle at michelle@dufferinpark.ca or pizzadays@dufferinpark.ca
Bad Weather:
In very bad weather Pizza Days are canceled. Staff assesses the weather conditions on pizza days (instead of cancelling based on forecasts). So if weather looks sketchy, call 416 392 0913 before you pack up the kids and either listen to the outgoing message or speak with staff.
