Weekly Market Notes for January 08, 2015

Hello Market Friends:

Welcome to a New Year at the market. Time to re-stock with fresh and healthy local foods! We'll all be inside where it's warm, and looking forward to seeing you again.

Ted Thorpe will have a good selection of organic produce in the garage, and in the rinkhouse we'll have veggies from Shared Harvest and Kind Organics. We will also have hot food and drinks from Ali Harris and the Dufferin Park Kitchens, fresh eggs, olives and oil, honey, tofu, meats, chocolate and coffee, preserves, nuts and dried mushrooms, fresh baked bread, maple syrup, gluten-free baking and snacks, raw foods...in other words, plenty to enjoy both on the spot and at home.

Best Baa will return next week, and the Akiwenzies won't be down as it's been pretty stormy up their way.

These days, it would hardly be a proper market newsletter without a baby announcement. Congratulations to Mayssan and Mike on the happy arrival of their daughter! She was born at Jutta and David's house on December 22nd.
