Counter Area

We are needing a counter area that will house three W kitchen-type sinks, and one hand-washing sink. Below the counter will be storage, plumbing, and the hot water heater. Do you have an interest in:

  • woodworking
  • mosiac or tile countertops
  • working with found materials
  • building to suit the site
  • designing and developing your ideas

If so, maybe you would like to be a part of the counter area working group! You will:

  • design the counter area, in consultation with Georgie, and with input from Jutta and the park staff
  • work with Georgie to take into account plumbing, electrical and foundation considerations
  • help source and sort recycled materials
  • involve interested volunteers
  • integrate building into general work parties, and specifi c building bees as required

Timeline: May to July
